Our community is focused on bringing together game developers, enthusiasts and anyone interested in the industry to share knowledge, learn new skills, and network with like-minded individuals.
Game Dev Linz is a community for everyone passionate about creating, playing, or exploring games.
We bring together developers, designers, artists, writers, musicians, sound designers, programmers, and game enthusiasts of all kinds – anyone who loves the craft of making games.
Game Dev Linz meetups were revived in 2022 after the pandemic and quickly evolved into a thriving, supportive community with regular events and an active online presence.
To further strengthen our efforts and continue growing together,
we founded the official Game Dev Linz association (Verein).
We host regular meetups that feature:
- Talks & Presentations diving into game development topics
- Discussions & Networking with local creatives
- Casual Hangouts to connect, share ideas, and collaborate
Our Discord Community is another key part of what we do!
With 400+ members, it’s a place for:
- Event notifications
- Developer and creative support
- Dedicated channels for all aspects of game creation
- Organizing community events and collaborations
Our mission is to create a welcoming and supportive community for everyone interested in game development – no matter their background or experience level.
